Dairy – Stopped For Better Health

Due to these concerns researched I decided to get off dairy and never looked back!  It has really helped with the healing of Secondary Progressive MS symptoms and I am grateful for the healing knowledge. Some researchers and scientists are looking into dairy around the world as they are finding it can cause lots of health issues. They tell us:-

The majority of humans naturally stop producing significant amounts of lactase — the enzyme needed to properly metabolize lactose, the sugar in milk — sometime between the ages of two and five.

Our human bodies just weren’t made to digest cow’s milk, calves are.

Instead, some scientists agree that it’s better for us to get calcium, potassium, protein, and fats from other food sources, like whole plant foods — vegetables, fruits, beans, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and seaweed.

Some Pesticides and toxins in cow feed find their way into milk and dairy products that we consume.  When the milk is pasteurised and not organic, some of the good nutrients our bodies require are also destroyed. Pasteurising is when they heat up the milk to destroy the toxic chemicals like antibiotics for example but some get through. They say not enough to hurt humans but how do they know? as any can affect the human body.

Any little bit of toxic chemicals over time can harm us 

I also researched that there’s no evidence that dairy is good for your bones or prevents osteoporosis — in the countries where the most dairy is consumed the researchers say they have the most osteoporosis. Dairy is acid forming in the body like meat and processed sugars, which causes major health problems and also makes your bones fragile.

They say that Non-organic Dairy causes digestive problems and lactose intolerance. It is linked to prostate problems, and causes irritable bowel syndromes. Research also reads when people have cut out dairy they have got rid of migraines, infections, behavioral issues and sinus problems. 

Stopping all dairy and following nature certainly improved my health with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, I was bedridden with pain & fatigue now with nature’s light and eating plant food I’m now out of bed, more energy and with no pain, spasms or numbness.

Non-dairy yogurt we use

If you decide to go Organic with dairy that will help but for healing I chose not to have dairy.  I don’t have Soy milk either as not for my taste but it’s you’re decision when ready.

As an idea we mash or use a hand blender with choices of either plant milk, or 1 tsp of extra virgin olive oil & 1/4 tsp coconut oil together, or a raw egg in cooked potatoes and they come out creamy, with tasting great.   Keep the skin on potatoes scrubbed really clean, or go organic potatoes for healthcare, they have lots of nutrients and more flavour. With scrambled egg we use a dash of oats plant milk

For milk instead of dairy I use Organic Almond, Rice, Coconut & Oats milk
